What Is Belkyra?
Belkyra is an injectable treatment containing deoxycholic acid, a molecule that occurs naturally in the body and aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, it destroys fat cell membranes. Once those cells are gone, they cannot store or accumulate fat again. The result is a permanent reduction in submental fullness and a more defined chin and jawline profile.
Belkyra is Health Canada approved for the treatment of moderate to severe submental fat in adults.
